What is in a Henry name?

I don't much care for the letter/number nomenclature Henry uses but love the fact they also gave them a name. For example the H001 is known as a Classic and the H001L is a Carbine. I like calling them by name but sometimes will use H001 instead of saying Classic just so everyone is clear.
Henry calls the H001Y a Youth rifle but I would have called it a Scout. The other names like Frontier and Varmint Express are good too although I would have just called the .17HMR a Varmint and drop the Express.
If you were to name the rifles what would you call them. And no you can't call them Bob and Joe.

Given the frustration I've been having with my H001 lately, I've got some other names for it instead of "Classic."

Based on what I think is one of my .45 Colt lead slugs I found last night after it exited the plywood backboard, how about "Lead Locomotive" or "Critter Shredder"?....if that is one of mine, and I cleared the dirt before I shot in the hopes of finding one....OUCH!
Or...Adios Amigos, Cowboy Cruncher, Buckaroo Bruiser, Stagecoach Stopper, Tom Horn Howitzer....

From the look of it, any of those would describe it perfectly! I think "lethal" would be a general, yet very accurate description of that piece of malformed metal.

I admit that most of the the H0
?? whatever numbers mean little to nothing to me ... Big Boy Steel .44 is much clearer to me than H012 .... as is Case Hardened .45-70 much clearer to me than H010CC
that being said, so long as they keep building them the way they do, I have no problem with them naming their rifles anything they want ..

I like the fact they do both.
