Nickel plating action cover on Henry

I had the action cover, screws and forend band nickel plated on my Henry .17 HMR varmint and it came out so great I plan on doing the same with my new Henry H003T pump action. Since no barrrel band I'll do the trigger guard instead. I'll drop it off next week and get it done. I'll tell you that if you want this done right, it's pricey but that's the price of good work. I'll put a pic of the work they did on my varmint Henry but the pics don't do it justice.

Chemical case harden coloring would look good too.

Can they nickel plate a plastic part? That is what the trigger guard is made of.
