Picked up my new Henry H001L (.22 Carbine) yesterday and put 35 rounds through it to get sights set and plink a little. Now have a total of 8 Henry rifles in my gun cabinet.

I have drunk the Kool-Aid. I got the 357 side loader, I was so impressed I picked up a 357 single shot (I'm going to send it to a gunsmith for threading for a can thus creating the ultimate possum puncher) and then traded my Remlin 44 mag for a 44 mag side loader (major upgrade!). So from zero to three in the past 75 days. And, I've decided that my original Marlin 39A Golden should become a safe queen and negotiations are underway to add a Henry .22 substitute for it.

Can I proxy for my “son”? He’s not a member here, but his Henrys are often in my house. He’s recently bought a Frontier and a CCH sidegate .30-30. I haven’t seen that one yet, but as soon as Anthony builds a short barreled version, I’ll own one.
