Has anyone handled one of these? Thoughts about it?

Re: Single Shot Brass
Just picked up mine today. .357. beautiful and think Henry may have fixed the triger. while I don't have any way to measure the lbs. on the pull I'm guessing from pistols I own it's about 4 to 5 lbs. very smooth.
Re: Single Shot Brass
Congrats! Based on Al's inquiry and your response, you may be the first owner of a Brass SS (at least to come forward), so many of us will be interested in your impressions, range reporting and, of course, pictures!
Congrats again!

Re: Single Shot Brass
Nice to see someone has one here. Im also interested as to how you like it after shooting it. At present time I have gone back and forth as to what caliber to go with. Might just need to get one in 357 brass version as theres no such thing as to many 357's

Re: Single Shot Brass
Looks Good Matt. Im curious as to how you like it once you shoot it. I have my eye on one as well. I have a scope on the steel model but once I find a round it likes I may go to a dot as well just like them better for plinking.

Re: Single Shot Brass
Hate to say it, but I haven't gotten a chance to shoot her yet. looks like it will probably have to wait till next weekend. Have dry fired her and she feels sweet.
Re: Single Shot Brass
You really need a pink Henry towel to show off the splendor of that rifle.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Trying to get it set up the way I would like it. haven't gotten a chance to take her to the range yet. soon though.
Re: Single Shot Brass
That's a beauty, Matt, and I think maybe the first Brass single shot shared here by a member. Great looking lumber! Can't wait to hear your range reports.
While all my other Henrys are straight-stocked EXCEPT for this 223 SS I just picked up, the straight stock of the Brass Single Shots seems "straighter," so I am just interested in you you feel with it lined up, shoulder "fit," etc.
Al's got me all up and interested in your fine choice!
