Beautiful day today with temps in the low 70's and sunny. I went out to have some fun shooting steel plates and make some final sight adjustments. I brought along My BBS in 357 Mag., my Marlin 1894 in 45 Colt and my Glock 17 fo fun.

This is the range setup I used with the steel plates at 25 yds and the target at 35.

I was having a great time until my problem 357 Mag. reload. Needless to say it was an overcharged round and was cause for some concern. For all the details see the Reloading Section write-up. The only damage appears to be the overcharged case, but it could have been worse.

Overall I burned up about 70 rounds of 357 Mag., 80 rounds of 45 Colt and 50 rounds of 9mm. I alway enjoy watching those steel plates jump.

Nothing like plinking the steel on a sunny day! Are those 6 inch plates?

It was a work day for me at the range today putting the roof panels on my lean to storage shed project. But I did get a few shots out of my Henry .45 Colt Carbine.

Some nice lever guns, there. Glad everything turned out, okay.
