Well, here is my first range day. I used 4 different premium factory loads at 100, 200, and 300 yards. All were 165 gr and the rifle was topped with a Sig Whiskey -3, 4x12x50 scope. First of all, the scope is super clear and the adjustments were true, the 4.5 inch eye relief was perfect for keeping your cheek weld behind the dip in the stock. 100yds- all groups were from 1.0-1.75 inches. 200yds-1.5-2.3 inches. 300yds-2.1-3.3 inches. I fired 3 fouling rounds before the test and didnt clean the rifle between targets.I went from target to target without letting the barrel cool all the way to make it a realistic hunting scenario. No problems with the rifle at all, you just have to cycle it like you mean it. I tried to make this a real world test because my LR is not gonna be a safe queen it is gonna be a blue collar working tool Every scrape and scratch will be a campaign ribbon from hunting and chasing deer, pigs and elk. So for what its worth, the HENRY shot well, the premium ammo was close to equal and the scope was outstanding. Cant wait to hit the woods this fall so, I will be harvesting some coyotes on the farm in the mean time.
