8 out of 10 on the 10 inch

Post by Vaquero » Sun Feb 16, 2020 1:10 pm

Quick trip over to the hog lot to ring the gong before heading to werk. ;)
One knee with the 44 BBB at 75 yards.
250 gr Keith bullets.

Missed the first two, then 8 in a row, and one of those was almost a miss. Top right next to the bolt.

Quick fun before work. :o

Great shooting! I’ve always liked the one knee position.

Nicely done, I really like shooting from 1-knee and my bet is lots of buffalo taken that way on the old frontier.

Well, at least you went out and shot. More than I've done lately. I'd say good shooting at 75 yards. Me and Riflewife just got back a bit ago from a belated Valentine's lunch. Stuffed! And she's zzzzz'ing on the couch!

Thanks Tom, yes I did get to shoot a few minutes.
Sounds like you and the misses had a good afternoon though.

I have a nice S&W 629 -2E with 3 inch barrel that I hardly shoot. I seem to like my M69 with 4.25 barrel a bit better...smaller frame and handy size to carry in field holster! Now for the best revolver shooting .44 Mag I like my ol' Ruger SBH with 7.5 inch barrel!

Pretty good shooting there, pard. Glad you've got a good place to shoot. Mine, not so much anymore.
Enjoy,
Larry
