I was able to take the Henry’s out to the range recently after being rained out for weeks. I put some rounds through the Golden Boy 22LR (it’s got 4500 through it now) and the BBSC 357. Henry sent me a new rear sight so I had to adjust it a little. I’ve found that I now have to hold at 6 o’clock instead of right over the bullseye. Here’s a few pics. I’ve got a Skinner barrel mounted peep on the GB and decided to try some different rounds to see where they printed. Looking forward to going back if the rain ever stops again.

Looks good Deano and it looks like you have the Skinner sight tuned in on the Golden Boy.

Man we've been getting a lot of that darn rain here also.
I'm sure it'll quit here before to long, then it'll just be HOT and Dry.

I'm also in NC and everyone I talk to has had more than enough rain so I feel your pain!
Very nice guns...have much the same except my BBS is the 20" and my .22 is the SGC. I sure hope I can achieve similar results!

BTW Deano, I have seen those high vis targets on paper plates on other posts. Are they just round stick-ons? If so, where did you get them. A package of paper plates and those is probably a lot cheaper than the full size high vis targets I've seen. They are not cheap!

Deano, that is some fine shooting. Even here in So-Cal, we've been getting a lot of rain. ASAP, I'm getting the Henry's out to the desert to shoot. .357 and .45 Colt. Hope you get to shoot again soon.

Thanks Mags! I haven't seen them in my local Walmart as I had hoped, however, they have been working on a $6 million dollar renovation. Might check there again before placing an order on Amazon. Not a prime member so shipping might cost as much as the targets.

Nice rifles and fine shooting, there. Glad you could get out. Up here, all that rain has come in the form of snow. We've set records for snowfall and that takes some doing, since this is serious snow country.

I got them at Academy Sports. The 3” round can be perfectly covered with the Henry brass bead at 25 yards and the 6” round covered at 50 yards. That helps me have a consistent point of aim. Otherwise, the brass bead is just too large for aiming accurately. At least for me. It’s also easier to see your hits at distance. It’s getting to the point where I need some binoculars to see my hits, though.

I use paper plates a lot because they are dirt cheap. I’d rather spend my money on ammo than targets.
