Was doing some load work on the Henry 41.
Temps. in the low 60's, little warm for Dec.
Using a 280 gr WFN BTB & some H 110 & 2400.
All shots 50 yds. 5 rds each.

While I waited between shots on the 41, I would shoot the Marlin cowboy, ammo are reloads 200 gr RFN & 9.8 grs unique.
Shooting was on one knee 25 rds.

Nicely done. I looked at a Marlin Cowboy rifle a while ago. Used but it was a nice gun.

Mine is an '08, so one of the last JM's.
Previous owner had already installed the safety delete.
I think if I shoot it more we could improve.

Nice Job Vaquero. Those Marlin Cowboys are great. Im lucky enough to own one. Its in 38-55. Last price I saw on one the pistol caliber cowboys was triple of original price. There hard to get and you can buy 2 Henrys for less than the price of one of those. Your Colt has nice wood on it, it looks good.

Love the Marlin. Nice wood. Hang on to that one, for sure. Those JM marlin Cowboy gun prices are going nuts.
