I didn't get to the range last week and was feeling a bit out of sorts so I remedied that today. This is my second outing with the Ruger American All Weather and decided to shoot at 200 yards today since it did well last time I had it out. This target is 50 rounds shooting Perfecta 55 gr FMJ from a bench just using sand bags as a rest. I think it shoots very well for an inexpensive rifle.

Don't know why these pics come out sideways. Anyway the left side of the picture is the top. I also took the S&W 31 out on it's maiden run this afternoon but I shot at silhouette targets so nothing to show for it. It does shot very well with the loads I made up for it.

Note : taken care of ;)

Hard to beat a Ruger for "bang for your buck". That is an outstanding target for 200yds - well done.

Thanks. I wish I could shoot my handguns as well as rifle but I'm working on it. :D

To add as a footnote, there was a guy shooting a couple of benches down from me that had some fancy dancy target rifle with a huge scope. He was using a shooting sled and was nailing 1/2" groups at 200 yards. (Nosy me was looking at his target through my spotting scope) He left before I was finished so I didn't chat with him. I was going to ask what kind of rifle he was shooting.

Great shooting. It takes a lot of concentration to shoot 50 rounds and keep them on target.

Great shooting Jake. I just bought one of those Rugers in a 300 blackout. It has the 16 inch barrel and uses the standard magpul AR magazine. Im amazed at how good it shot for what I paid for it. Al
