Range Report: zeroing for rabbits

I shot at a rabbit last week and missed. It surprised me because I was only about 10 yards away. Well I found out way today.

GAMO Big Cat 1400, cal .177
JSB Match Diabolo, Exact Beast 16 grain
Distance 25 yards

My range. This is a telephoto picture. I was shooting from a bench but the bench was not deep enough and only the stock rested on it. The buttstock was held freely.

I was able to hit a squirrel about 15 yards away and 20 feet in the air. Because I was shooting at a very high angle I aimed an inch above center of body and the squirrel fell to the ground instantly. I've warned that squirrel about eating cherries on the tree. I threw the carcass in the brush and it was gone in the morning.
