Went to the range today with a couple of friends from the shootingclub, shot with my Henry and Ruger and now my Ruger and my S&W 629 (not in this picture) and rifle shoot the same ammunition and it works great atleast at 25meters I will try longer distances with the rifle when the snow melts. To be honest I have a little struggle to focus on the front sight in brass on my Henry, maybe its the lightconditions with snow reflecting all the light around or im just tired in my eyes after a week of work infront of a computer. I was thinking about reversing the "inlay" of the buckhorn so I dont get that white dot maybe its messing up my focus on the frontsight, if not I will have to change to another front sight maybe to a fibresight but its not really a big issue.

I'm with you on the snow thing. I've also found it hard to use brass or even colored front sights against the snow. Fiber optics is an improvement, but I still prefer and all black front sight when shooting against a snowy background (and we still have a LOT of snow on the ground, up here).

Nice guns, by the way. Love those long barrels on the revolvers.
