Loose Scope

JeBar noticed his scope was loose before we shot a couple of weeks ago. I noticed mine was a bit loose in the front while cleaning up the rifle after my outing today at the range. I have a Weaver torque screwdriver and I know I used the correct amount of torque when installing the scope mount BUT that's where its a bit loose. It's not the scope rings but the mount. So I guess I'll take the scope off and tighten up the mount before I take it out the next time. Anyway here's my target from today. (when it loaded the top is to the left) I also shot some steel targets with the P229 LR. It's always fun to shoot a .22 for some reason. I was doing okay hitting the steel 50 yard target but it's a bit bigger than the others.

Sure looks like you wouldn't be able to use sticky patches to repair that splash target, Shakey Jake.
Great shooting!

Thanks, I think the loose scope was the reason the group started shifting left and low.

Hey, loose scope or not, that's some fine shooting.
