Beautiful day in the 60s but 40 mph wind. No 50 yd target like the last one today. My 1860 Henry in glorious 45 Colt.
First up is some wild west fun at 25 yds. Rapid fire! Red hot barrel, burning flesh and a couple of scorched targets!
Off hand standing and as fast as I could crank 'er!!
24 rounds on two 8 inch targets.
Next is 50 yds off hand standing. 26 rounds on an 8 inch target. This is where the wind gets me. At least they are all in the black mostly.

Another great report, RR. Love the magic you work with a lever gun. Every time I read one of your posts, I feel like grabbing one of our lever guns and heading to the range. Come to think of it, it is time to give our Marlins a workout.

try loading the pictures from your camera into your picture processing program .... turn them to the way you'd want them on the forum and save them on your computer .... when you upload them to the forum they will normally be positioned as they are saved on your computer

I take them with my phone and just upload from there. They are right side up in the phone but oh well. Thanks anyway. If you can edit and turn them in the Forum just pm me. Thks.

That's a most sharp-looking rifle, RR, and it performs quite well.....especially in the hands of an excellent shooter!
I saw the mad look
you "aimed" on your target at the
40 mph x-wind. That's what makes your off hand POIs so impressive.
Great range report -- once again.
P.S. Did the cup of coffee help any?!?

Yes SH isn't shooting much right now so I picked the slack with the coffee.
What a difference a day makes with the wind impact on lead. Today was full on cross wind. Adjusting on the fly. Guess I'm my own worst critic but I expected better at 50 yds. But I still had fun and I LOVE this rifle.
