Range time today with the 1860 Henry in 45 Colt. Shot 50 rounds of Winchester 250 gr Lead Flat Nose ammo. I've put countless rounds of this ammo through my Henry and never a feed issue yet. It cycles through the action as smooth as can be. First target is 25 yards rapid fire, a full mag tube of 12 rounds. 8" target. Off hand standing with the open sights as usual. Yeow!....that barrel heats up fast. Fun though, even with the 2nd degree burns. Next is probably my best target to date, 50 yards, off hand standing. I was very happy with the results. No wind today and that certainly helps, but I'll tell you what; this is one accurate rifle. If I do my job, it will certainly do it's job. 38 rounds, with 1 round off the 12" grid, and some were very close to where I was trying to put them. Happy 4th of July folks!
