Today we had a friendly competition to see who could shoot 410 shotgun hulls off the fence at 100 yards. I hit this one with my CZ 452, using Eley Club 22 LR ammo:
A view from the bench. Green snow fence at 100 is hard to see, but is to the right of the orange steel swingers. I need to apologize to Sir Henry, as my coffee got cropped out of the frame on this shot:

Nice shooting. I love my CZ bolt gun. They are terrific shooters.

nice shooting .... I thoroughly enjoy seeing positive reports from folks pulling off good shots with a 22 at 100 yard or so distances

Great shot! If I had to pick one of our 22 rifles to duplicate that, it would also be one of our CZs. Love our single shots and lever guns, but those CZs are our go to rimfire rifles for accuracy.

Checked out my CZ today.. it's the 455 model with a Nikon scope on board. Tack driver.
I was looking for some wood preparing to start a new project, and Miss T's chickens all started raising a ruckus. I closed the boathouse doors and grabbed the CZ from the house on the way to the coops. I didn't see anything, but sat under a river birch out of sight for about an hour just in case. The chickens stayed hidden in the underbrush the entire time. I suspect a hawk... or perhaps a juvenile eagle. But... we have also had problems with stray dogs and cats, foxes, coyotes, coons, and other varmints.

My main "rival" also was shooting a CZ.

Ditto
Is that at a range or is that in your back yard? I have a CZ75 B 9mm and its the only double action auto I own other than my carry S&W Shield. Ive tried the others and they just dont work for me. I have shot the CZ bolts in 22 LR and if I was going to buy another 22 in a bolt I already know it would be a CZ. Al

Be nice if that was my back yard. When I lived in Louisiana, I was out in the country on about 5 acres, and my yard was my range. Up here, I live in town, but the range is about a five minute drive away. It's run by a club, open to the public, and has very reasonable membership rates. If you're ever here in Wisconsin, let me know. We can make noise with some Henry rifles.

Thanks Ditto you never know that may happen. My wifes son in law is from Wisconsin and his parents still live there. I haven't been there in a while but I have been there. Same here if you come to Colorado let me know. I know a place to warm the barrels on the Henrys which always make me smile. Al

Lol. I wish it was my back yard! When I lived in Louisiana, my range was in my yard (wasn't that fancy, though), but here in Wisconsin I live in town. The range is just a coupla miles away, though.
