Range Report: CZ 452-E2 American in .22LR
I went to the range on Friday and shot my CZ at 50 yards. The sun was bright and there was no wind so I tried it at 100 yards and was amazed at how accurate the rifle is with good ammo. I was shooting at NRA 100 yard small bore rifle targets (TQ-4 (P)) and my best ten round target was a 100(9x). My one x miss was because someone beside me was shooting a 308 and I flinched as we shot at the same time.
In between target setups I occupied the time shooting shorts in my Henry SGC. There are bits and pieces of red clays laying around and I just plinked at them.
Correction: the rifle is a 452-E2 not a 454.

Why do I only see the butt end of the stock and sand bags. I haven't been able to see Sir Henrys pictures for a while now. Sometimes the pictures are like zoomed in to being very large and blurry.

You are probably using Internet Explorer. That's what I see in IE, too. I switched to Google Chrome to view forum pics and the problem was solved. It's a glitch in IE.bandit1250 wrote:Why do I only see the butt end of the stock and sand bags. I haven't been able to see Sir Henrys pictures for a while now. A CZ 454? That's one I've never owned.
Glad you got out whatever CZ it was. Reminds me. I took our 455 out for a spin, last week. Maybe I should post about it, too.

It is good to see your range setup. I was thinking your coffee sponsor might be missing until I zoomed in. Nice looking Mercury Coffee thermos. And the ammo box looks just like mine.
I still haven't gotten around to making a shooting box and bag setup similar to yours.
Can you share some details on dimensions?

I missed out on seeing SH's photo, too, because it is very large --- 4096 X 3072 pixels. Don't have any idea how to change to Google Chrome for forum pics. Easily can believe there is a glitch in IE.
Another Q. SH's photo is overly large; why do most other photos, which are posted, appear normal size and look just fine?!?
Ah, the wonders and "joy" of cyberspace.

Its a typo. It is a 452, actually a 452-E2.North Country Gal wrote:A CZ 454? That's one I've never owned.Glad you got out whatever CZ it was. Reminds me. I took our 455 out for a spin, last week. Maybe I should post about it, too.

I made several of these and the dimensions are no big deal. All are different sizes and the height of the table and chair determines which box I take.RetiredSeabee wrote:It is good to see your range setup.
