Rossi 357

I took my Rossi RP63 out last week to see how 38 +Ps and 357s would do. Because my wife was with me shooting her LCR, I just shoot 6 rounds of each to compare. As for POI, the 38 +Ps seem to be truer to POA. Then, the brand, along with my shooting, could play a role as well. I will probably shoot other brands just to confirm.

Looks like two of the 357 found home. The 38’s seemed to be more consistent. Good shooting though either way. They all would have gotten the job done.

Not bad, at all.
I have no idea what the RP63 is though.

That's some nice shooting there. That Rossi looks to be somewhere between a Smith J frame and K frame. Can you confirm that?
I like +Ps in the K frame magnums.

Hey Dave, Thanks! I agree, it is somewhat between a Smith J and K. I have both, and it is heavier than my J frame (360) but lighter than my K frame (65-5). I suspect that is why the +Ps are more consistent in it. Yet, the brand could have made a difference also. The 357s were Perfecta and the 38 +P were Remington.
