45-70 500 gr HC Test 100 yards

Range day 8/28 shooting the 500 grain HC rounds. Made the first 5 with 31.3 grains of LT-32 and made 5 additional ones using 31 grains of H4895 for trap door. What really surprised me was both were relatively tame when it came to recoil. I was expecting more of a recoil. My 350 grain HC rounds loaded with 55 grains of H4895 had way more recoil than the 500 grain rounds. 10 rounds down range. Will be loading 40 more sometime this week.
