Last shots for 2023 and new 44 Mag load !

Today New Years Eve and the best weather out of next 4 days so good time to wrap up another year of range fun.
Decided to take the Uberti 1873 44 Mag carbine to test a new mid level 44 Mag load which was 240 gr. plated Xtreme bullet loaded over 9.6 gr. of Alliant BE-86. The powder is still readily available at my LGS and I have about 4 lbs. of it.
Next new load is for .44 Special and is on the mild side being a 240 Xtreme plated with 6.8 of Power Pistol and I shot it thru my Ruger NM Blackhawk Flat Top 44 Special six shooter. Brought my short barreled Colt Open Top 44 Special belly gun too and punched some big ol holes!
Also brought along the new Ruger 10/22 I got my granddaughter for Christmas which might be easier for her to shoot being the Compact Model.
This one has a short 12.5 LOP which can benefit young shooters however I noticed her having to get back at end of stock to get the sights lined up so maybe she needs the standard 13-14 inch LOP.
So I had made up a simple bracket that lets the stock slide out to 14 inch which helped me to get a good sight picture also and wanted to try it.
As you can see the new loads I tested worked out really well and will load more of each.
