Almost ready to burn it down after 4 years and probably 20 or 25lbs of lead and copper embedded in it from .22lr to 12gauge slugs. No exit holes yet tho, so it's probably good for another few months.

Keep shooting it.

Some kind of maple or gum. Grows wild around here. This one got uprooted by a tornado April 13, 2019 around midnight. Almost fell on our house.

I'd keep shooting it until bullets were going thru. Could still be a long time.

That's the plan. Might not be a long time tho. My daughter is planning to visit in early Dec. and she likes to shoot. Doesn't get much chance to do that where she lives.

She'll be here for about a week. Been about 2 years since I've seen her, and I've bought several firearms since then. I expect I'll need to spend a couple hundred on ammo. And set up some fun targets which I've been meaning to do anyway.

Takes a beatin, but nice to have something to shoot at when you get bored. I have a 30 gallon feed bucket of softballs for the .22s. Used to patrol the county softball complex, picked them up from the center field areas behind the fences on midnight shift and would toss them in the trunk of the patrol car in a walmart bag, then take them home. Kids loved to roll them with the single actions.
