Range Report: emptying the ammo jar

I plink a lot and sometimes will put a few rounds that didn’t get shot into a jar. This jar contained CCI SV, Quiets and a single short. I loaded them at random and send the lead down range in my H&R Sportsman. It’s certainly no Uberti or Ruger but still fun to shoot. Being a breaktop it’s fast and easy to reject the empty brass.

I had one of those break top H&Rs that a neighbor loaned me for some shooting over the summer. Match grade target guns they are not, but fun to shoot guns they certainly are.

Like the shooters candy dish! Does that revolver eject the brass when you flip it open?

Yes if you open it briskly. It’s easy to load too. 22LR ammo is like candy to me.

That is one sharp looking revolver.

Thanks. My father-in-law gave it to me for doing some plumbing.

That's a neat candy dish. The revolver looks fun. I've never had an H&R revolver. Very neat.
