Killed the gong.

First shot, just high of the bullseye section,
Snapped the bolt


just a 325+gr chuck of lead.

The gong is 3/8" thick AR500 steel 12"x24"
Slapped the center section plum around,

You can see it just sheared the bolt.
55yds, 444 ain't playing

Ive done that with a 270, but not with a 444.

Yes just the bolt,

but
what an impact.
I'll be replacing both with a grade 8 bolts.

Me, I'd use cheap skinny bolts. There is thrill in seeing something fly apart when shot

I just use the carriage type bolts which have no sharp corners for the targets that have the square holes. They will lose their heads after a good bit of use and not too expensive to replace. Of course the eagle eye shooters will hit the head sometime and game over!
