Heavy! For 41

Yesterday I decided to drag the BBS and Ruger BH both in 41 mag. and try a couple of heavy loads.
I bought this mold a few years ago, it's made by Accurate and is a 270gr mold.
Well with my alloy these last ones dropped 276-280. :o
So I weighed up a bunch and found enough that were all close enough to get a half a$$ test. ;)
So the tested bullets weigh 277, and were loaded over 17.0 grs. of 2400, and the other half over 17.5 grs. of H110.

Well through the BH at 20 yds. neither load worked well at all, and were definitely a handful.
 Six of each was plenty
Now from the Henry neither was bad on the shoulder, the 2400 load was a tad more.
Shooting was from 55 yds., and the 2400 load was the winner as you can see.
I started playing with these last year, but I seem to have misplaced the info so I'm starting over.

After i finished the 41's, I went and grabbed the Rossi 357 for a little side by side action.
The 180gr Pugnose over 2400 and Blue dot, five shot groups,
even though it's hard to see but one was darn near through the same hole. ;) :D

At 55 yds. without a scope I can't see the red dot so I just aiming as close to center as possible. 🤣😉

interesting 41 load .... a heavy one for sure .... once you get it fine tuned it will probably deliver a very heavy blow .... I suspect it will have a pretty high arc trajectory

Yes they may have slight arch. But I won't be pushing it maybe a 100 yds.
I know it should shoot these pretty good once I find the combo.
I've shot some 250 gr. Cor bon not long after I got it, and at 50 yds. shot one large ragged hole.
I played with thes just a little last year and had some decent results, but
I can't find a target of any notes on it.
I may still have that Cor-bon target somewhere around here.

Ok here's the cor bon 250 gr. group and the underwood's 265's.
That Cor-bon group is 3/4" center to center, ;)
the red dot is 4.5".
