My H001 turned 14 yesterday, so it was time to celebrate! A new indoor range just opened near me with 6 50 yrd lanes!
Now, don't laugh at the silver scope, it was a Christmas present from my daughter! But it works just fine! Simmons 4x32.
The range/gun shop was nice but the bench top was a little higher than other range's I've been to....so it was a little
uncomfortable shooting. I still had a good time and my Henry performed like a top!
After a couple of clicks on the scope, I was all smiles!!

That is good shootin' for bench standing. Heck it's even good for bench sitting. What ammo were you using?

Nice shooting. 22's aren't known for consistent accuracy (the ammo, not the guns) so you did real well. I haven't seen a bad Henry yet and I'm sure you will enjoy that rifle a lot. And no apologies for the scope are needed. All my daughters ever gave me was heartburn

Same thing I was going to say, Ace, so let me just add a big, YES! to this.

And my daughters gave me heartburn too, until they gave me grandchildren. That makes up for it!

Thanks for the great range report. I have the same scope on my H001, though I bought it for myself and I bought it in black. A daughter that gives you a rifle scope AND grandchildren is worth way more than showing up at the range with her selection of a silver scope.
Keep her close.

Nice new range, handy Spee-D-Loader at ready, and a silver scope to shine in the sun (very nice Christmas present from a thoughtful daughter!).

Thanks guys for all the kind words! I was using Remington Thunderbolts which seems to be the easiest to find around here.
I'll have to admit that it took a couple of targets to get that one! I was definitely a Weeble that wobbles!

Nice shooting! And a little silver bling on the Henry is a cool touch....way to go!

50 yards looks really far indoors!

Good shooting and nice range, I wish our indoor range was that long and well lit !

For me it looks far outdoors too. The only time it's too close is when a bear is 50 yds away!
