A little online competition target with some friends: must shoot 25 yds off hand.

New Frontier flintlock, my 3rd outing. Maybe starting to get a little better comfort level, it's certainly a challenge. Not real happy with the target yet but at least on the 8x11 sheet of paper. Supposed to put 2 shots on each buffalo. No do-overs.

50 grains Schutzen 3fg
.490 ball
.010 bore butter lubed patch

Weather was ok, cold and clear.

Springtime! Get out and shoot!!

Looks like fun RR.
We should do something like that here just for fun, I'd be in.

At 15° I’d be lucky to get it loaded.
Look forward to some more of your reports going forward with your new rifle.

Even though just for fun it does add a little pressure.

Ive seen RR targets in 60 mph wind. 15 deg should be no pressure at all.
