NMBH .41mag practice
NMBH .41mag practice
Guess I still got it. Or at least some of it.
. Found some old .41mag SWC cowboy rnds (10) that I'd bought about 15 years ago and decided to shoot 'em up. All from about 8yds off my back porch. The head shots were the 2nd cylinder of 5 rnds.

Re: NMBH .41mag practice
Yes sir that'll do fine! Great shootin Gunny!
Re: NMBH .41mag practice
I've always liked this gun. Haven't shot it in about 3 years until today. I should shoot it more, but ammo has gone up so much in the last few years I can't really afford to shoot it as much as I'd like to. Briefly thought about hanging this target on the back door, but some knucklehead would probably take it as a challenge, and come in shootin'. Or some hoplophobe lawyer would make a big deal out of it.

Just your garden variety NMBH, except for the Hogue grips. 6 1/2" barrel.

Great looking target! I'll be sure to phone first whenever I visit so I won't be on the wrong end of that revolver!

I'd appreciate that. I can't afford to waste my usual 210gr xtp ammo.Shakey Jake wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 10:30 amGreat looking target! I'll be sure to phone first whenever I visit so I won't be on the wrong end of that revolver!

Re: NMBH .41mag practice
That's great shooting with that 41. I've always been tempted by the 41 mag, but I never took the step to reload for it and that's the only way to go with that cartridge. Factory ammo is crazy expensive.

I appreciate the complement, especially from you.North Country Gal wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 11:37 amThat's great shooting with that 41. Glad you like it, but that's just a corner of the display. I posted pic of the entire thing shortly after I joined here, but I see that it's gone now, so here's a more recent pic. I'm a lousy photographer.

Gunny, is the rifle at the top a .22? If so, can I ask what it is?GunnyGene wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 8:28 pmGlad you like it, but that's just a corner of the display. Yes. It's a 1939 Savage 6A, one of the old 'gill guns'. Great shooter, 24"barrel. Was originally my Father-in-law's. I inherited when he passed about 20years ago.markiver54 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 22, 2022 4:59 pmGunny, is the rifle at the top a .22?
