Savage 112 BVSS 22-250

Post by Shakey Jake » Wed Dec 29, 2021 2:52 pm

I took out the Savage this morning for a short spell. I had a lot to do so didn't stay long. The general and I went to the 200 yard range.
Here's the target. I only shot 10 rounds. This rifle shoots a lot better than I can. The one that's low right was a flier as I really wasn't ready for it to go "BANG" just yet.

Jake, your 112 BVSS is a up-graded version of my old 112 FVS. Damn good shooters they are. My plans to get a Rem 788 in 22-250 fell thru, so, I'll wait a bit. Good shooting Jake and Happy New Year. Really like those 22-250's!

Thanks! I'm really happy with it. It's very pleasant to shoot. I'd like to find one in .308 for my son (the one I refer to as the general). He like the .308 caliber. No one has them now though. Good luck with your search.

Savage rifles are great shooters for sure. Nice shooting Jake at 200 yards.

Very nice 200 yard shooting. For all of you lever action rifle fans the Savage 99 was once chambered in 22-250.
