A little sighting in

Post by brianpa » Thu Nov 25, 2021 4:53 pm

I put a Hawke 2x7 scope on my 30-30 H009G and had the opportunity to sight it in a little or at least get it minute of deer for our Saturday opener this weekend. The reloads are what I'm going with for now because I didn't want to change the scope yet.
This was just after bore sighting with a Simons old school bore sighter. Range was 35 yards rest aim off a telephone pole.
I do plan on trying the Winchester loads more and working up a reload to match the factory rounds.
