30-30 lever gun + 45 LC

Made some noise this morning. Took my lever 30-30 with Skinner sight and killed several rocks at unknown ranges, and then shot some 45 out of my Italian Peacemaker. I burned up some old ammo in the 45 so that I can reload with Pyrodex. I have a few large pistol primers, but really need to get some more, and they are very scarce around here.

they are scarce most everywhere ....I enjoy a 30-30 and wish they would come out with one in their Long Ranger

I'll stick with smokeless powder in the 45 Colt. Although it's fun making smoke, it's way too much trouble cleaning up after BP or Pyrodex.

I'll be shooting some .45 Colt this Wed in the desert. Can't wait.
