Range Report: “what’s that noise”

This was from two days ago. I continued to shoot bb’s right up till l left for Texas.
My neighbor kid who is about five years old keeps hearing me plinking and he can’t figure out what the noise is. I keep hearing him ask mom “what’s that noise” and mom won’t tell him in fear of him wanting a BB gun.

Given he's a five year old, I suspect curiosity will get the best of him and he'll do some peeking.

I stop shooting when he peeks. Then when he walks away I’ll plink more. His biggest problem is he can’t tell where it’s coming from.

Hopefully some fun like that with the steel and a quiet .45 ACP later this year.

That’s just down right funny. Poor kid.
Of course this is the perfect place to put that way overused line from one of those timeless Christmas movies.
