Another day on the frontier, with my Frontier. Very smoky day, in fact 3 shots was all I could do before I had to call it quits. Just too darn unhealthy to hang around in. There are over 250 fires burning in BC to the west of us.
Trying to challenge myself more and more; 75 yds off hand. At least got all 3 on the circle. Open primitive sights. Getting very attached to my rifle...

Great shootin RR. With all the smoke about like battlefield conditions! We are getting the smoke haze from the Northwest down here now.

Hope it clears for ya...saw a long range forecast with some real low temps here at night, that might help. 30's.

Great shootin again RR, I tried the off hand thing yesterday with the Marlin,
four out of five were on the target, but none on the Bullseye.

That’s three more shots than I made. I completely understand the smoke. It can really get bad at times.

There's a pretty good west wind blowing now and has cleared away much of it.

We've been getting that smoke over here, too. Some days it's been enough to make my eyes red and sting a bit, but I am sensitive to smoke. Hope everyone can stay safe.

Judging by the amount of smoke here, your steak is done.
