$52 buys a lot of fun

I recently bought a Crosman 1377 pellet pistol from Walmart. This is the most fun I have had for a little over $50. I bought a Crosman 2100 .177 rifle the same day and I really prefer the pistol for shooting from the back porch. I adjusted the sights for 22 yd. shooting with 6 pumps. I ran out of adjustment going down and is typical of the sights they use. I made a white line on the sight with a piece of tape and kept moving it until I got it where it is on with a 6 0'clock hold and now I will paint the sight from there to the top edge for my hold. This pistol I having been using the Crosman pellets that were gave to me and it likes the 7.4 gr. pointed better than the 7.9 HPT. I have been setting up shot shell hulls at 22 yds. for targets and have shot some of them about to pieces. Some of them on a good center hit fly back behind my target board a good 15'. It does not seem to be any less powerful than the rifle in .177. I am going to order a 1322 with the rifle stock combo when I get a few bikes detailed and maybe get the steel breech for mounting a red dot. My best string today was 9 hits with 12 shots with the open sights. Some times if I only set up three or four I can clean them off with each shot but it gets harder when you have a bunch to run off. I think getting tired of pumping and eye strain start to play a part. I have a little wind flag to go by because of the light pellets drifting in the light winds. I have a hard time walking past this little fun plinker with out stopping and sending a few to the target board at the shot shell hulls. If the wind is calm it is going to get shot. Anyone wanting some cheap fun I fully recommend getting one of these pistols. Walmart only sells the .177 and I will order the 1322 from Pyramid Air. Here is my new fun gun with some of my targets that have been shot quite a few times.

I used to have a Crossman revolver style pistol (similar to what they call the 'vigilante' today). That thing was a lot of fun. The bb's and pellets are very inexpensive and could shoot all afternoon very little money. The pump would be even cheaper since I wouldn't have to buy the CO2 canisters!

As a kid I'd set up a pepsi box in the back yard and stuff it with towels. When I was done poking holes in the box I could recover a majority of the BBs since the towels would catch them. Brings back good memories thank you for posting.

Love it! I keep mine in a cabinet in the garage for those days when I need to shoot something. I use the peep sight on mine. I drilled it out a bit larger and I get a very good sight picture with it.
