Stopped at the range

I was headed to the woods for a late morning hunt. I was going to hunt a few hours then shoot the Ruger Marks and my CZ 452 Lux that has been sitting in the safe and not getting shot. When I was passing the range there was no one there so instead of hunting I stopped there. Set up my target board to shoot the rifle first. Before I even walked back to the range tables the wind really picked up and the sleet and snow started to fall. I almost went back and got the target and left but I came to shoot and I did. The rifle shot good for the bad conditions but I didn't shoot more than maybe 30 rounds in the CZ until my fingers were numb and called it quits. I did shoot the empty shot shell hulls with the rifle I had set up instead of getting out the Rugers. Came back home instead of hunting as the weather got worse by the minute. When I got back down to lower elevation it was not blowing or snowing but a very light rain falling hardly getting the road wet. Maybe get a better day next week.
