I got a Weihrauch HW95 Luxus in .177 and I do like it, it shoots very well with the iron sights. Bought a Tasco Air 2-7 X32 scope cheap and mounted it. Maybe I will try to sight it in this evening.
Are you still waiting for yours?

Here is the gun with the scope mounted

and the target. Took about 8 shots to get it close then put up a new target. Don't like these targets as they make it difficult to see the crosshairs but I want to use them up. This target has 20 shots on it, the 2 lower shots were the first set and then I made my last adjustment. I was a bit shakey tonight but it is not too bad at 25 yards sitting.

Looks good to me Ernie nice shooting for sure. My neighbor is ordering one to. I have a 30 yard range ready to go. Ive got a rat on a stick some small sillywets and a spinner target to shoot at. Should be fun.

Our biggest and best shooting grounds in this state has been closed for more than two years. They were going to improve it and renovate. Last year they said the rains delayed the work but it would be open in the fall. At the last minute they refused to reopen it. They say they'll have to find a way to make it impossible for any rounds to fly beyond the boundaries of the range property. An impossible requirement. The range officers always prevented such antics and I never heard of any locals complaining about stray rounds. Now I guess they would have to enclose the entire property or build backstops hundreds of feet high. It's absurd.
Millions of tax dollars spent on the most popular public range in this state, and it can't reopen ever, as things stand now.

Over reaction due to CYA syndrome. One of the symptoms is constant & uncontrollable mumbling of "abundance of caution".

There are three lesser ranges (all over a hundred miles from here) that were left open, probably because they're small and crappy and few people go there.

Here in northern Wisconsin our ranges finally opened. Scored some lead for bullet molding and threw some lead down range...a good time was had by all.
