Henry H003T Pump action sight in

Post by Brando73 » Mon Nov 15, 2021 4:29 pm

This rifle is very accurate. I only got through with 1/3 of my breakin routine but I was impressed with it's accuracy. I was less impressed with the Federal auto match 22 ammo as my gun hates it and had a ftf on every other round. That's a pain in the butt but I needed full lead ammo to do the break in I use on 22's (100 rds, bore snake, 100 rds, bore snake and 100 rds. breaks in barrel and lapps as well). It was beautiful here in southern Oklahoma today. Not a cloud in the sky which was as blue as you could imagine. No wind and 71 degrees. I'd been in bed for over a week and this was just such a blessing. Dog and I just got in from sitting in the sun. Mad dogs and Englishmen lieing in the sun needs to add Mad dogs, Englishmen and Okies...Ha. Anyway I was wore out and just got through 100 rds but got it sighted in good at 50 yds. I'll finish off another 200 rounds Wednesday.
It was fun. I'm so blessed to live here. We are a fully 2a santuary state with constitutional carry and a vow made by our legislature to fight to the end any over reach in Out States Rights. As the framers of the constitution intended.
Here we are. Pic of the gun (Henry H003T pump action....the wood furniture is beautiful), pic of the target at 50 yds after sight in, pic of round that ftf and finally the pic of the crappy ammo.

Nice shooting. I cant help but think the ammo quality on all brands because of demand is going to be sub par. Companies cant find help and the help that is willing to work are pushed to the max.
Don't let the old man in

That strike was hard enough it should have gone bang.

I've never really been impressed by Federal 22 ammo. I like CCI, Blazer and Aguila. Unfortunately, they cost more. Love the new H003T.
I'd like to get one someday. Until then I'll stick with my Golden Boy and H001.
