More Black Powder fun....

Post by RanchRoper » Fri Jul 23, 2021 12:36 am

Here's a weird one....very windy today, about a 30 mph steady wind with gusts maybe to 40mph. The weird part is shooting a smaller target better than a larger one.

Both are 50 yds off hand. Frontier long rifle, 50 grains Triple 7, .490 ball, .015 patch.

Go figure?

Could be all that smoke getting in your eyes. :) Really, though, the way you shoot that Frontier makes so many modern guns look pretty bad.
