New member from California. You guys can call me Ted.

Picked up a beautiful Big Boy Brass Carbine in .357 Mag yesterday. Had to travel back to the store I bought it from.
Despite time restraints I navigated through traffic without major delay and brought it home.

This is the second Henry I acquired. The first was a Big Boy Steel in 45-70 Gov. It only stayed with me for a few months.
It seemed the caliber was too heavy and I did want a brass rifle w/ octagon barrel. There you have it.

SoCal 805, beach town called Ventura. Still nice around here but gets touristy in the summer.

Welcome Ted. Nice choice of Henrys but really there’s not a bad choice. Count me in as one of those touristy types, we’re leaving Washington State (east side thankfully) and heading to Studio City to visit our kids/grandkids next week. Not looking forward to the traffic but I’ll survive.

Born in San Jose, moved when I was six months old. Don't remember much about it. Stationed at Camp Pendleton for a brief period in the late 80s early 90s with a Marine Helo Squadron. I remember the traffic, earthquakes, and high cost of living.
