I put mine in the dishwasher all the time, never appears to harm it.

I glanced through the mugs at http://www.ceramic-source.com/, where our Henry mugs are made. A similar-in-shape ceramic mug (to our Henrys) shows "Dishwater Safe." I run mine regularly in the dishwasher.

Mine gets thrown in the dishwasher once a week whether it needs it or not.

I always hand-wash mine (I have two), only because it's real easy to do. And I don't drink coffee out of it – I don't drink coffee, period.

Mine are hot chocolate mugs.

Just out of interest, how much do Henry mugs cost in the USA? Over here they are £25 .... $31.22 at current exchange rates.

Mine goes in the dishwasher if momma washes. It gets hand washed if I do it. Same for the hand wash only Ol Hickory knives. They have quite a patina on them now!

with the cheapest shipping it would cost about $18 to get one sent to our home .... any clue what it would cost to ship one from here to the UK ? .... just wondering if one of us you could save you some money ?

Thanks for the offer, but I already have one. I was just curious about the price over there. ;) :D

$18 sounds like a lot of money for postage, but thinking about it, it's a big country, so perhaps not!

I'd like to own one or two for my home here in California but the shipping cost is about the same as the mug itself! Hard to justify...
