Forearm brass band

Screw removed fairly easily. Brass band will not budge.

It's not clear what you're saying in this post, but if you're having a problem of any kind with the forearm and brass band of your rifle, you should simply call Henry's CS and talk with someone about it. I can guarantee they will have an answer or a solution to the problem.

The barrel band is fitted so tight it will not come off. Has anybody had this problem? If so what did you do to remove it?

If you just can't help yourself, then figure out a way to heat the band. It will expand and come right off.

Heat did not work. It was worth the try.

I use a flat object like a kitchen knife to grab the edge then tap the knife lightly with a small hammer. If you try this only tap tap tap and try to remove it in a dozen or more tabs.

Welcome aboard shoothemoon, I would heat it up with a hairdryer for a few minutes then use a wooden dowel and hammer. Try to tap evenly all the way around. Re-warm with the hairdryer as it cools down.
