Dry firing?

This is what I use for dry fire practice in my Henry Frontier. These are for placing screws in dry wall but they are the best and cheapest rimfire snap caps I can find. I will usually will eject and turn them after 3 or 4 strikes and they usually will eject with no problem. Any hardware store will have them. The marks on the rim are from a five shot strike and a 10 shot strike both appear the same so my firing pin is not making contact with the breach face. This is something I picked up on another forum a while back.

Certainly cheap enough. Probably even have some in my shop.

I have heard of people firing .22 nail gun blanks for practice.

GIves ya a nice pop as well and no dry fire issues.
