Speaking of the 44 mag ML, well, I watched a couple of videos, yesterday, that Henry has on their site. Yeah, in the past I have asked myself why a Mare's Leg, too, but now I'm asking myself, why not? Hey, it is a handgun, right? It can't be bad, then. Who knows, that could be my first Henry "rifle".
I think the known issues are taken care of. If you have any issues or know of another member who is having issues, PM daytime dave. As we head towards the holidays, hunt with your Henry.

Another fan of those HSM 44 mag Bear loads. Every Ruger 44 mag I've shot loves them.

In a lot of situations you can have the Mare's Leg loaded inside your vehicle, unlike a rifle which has to be unloaded most of the time. But the real reason is in the shooting. There is just something about them.
