No front sight needed

I may be a little anal about this but I don't like sights on rifles that are scoped. Wouldn't it be nice if I could take the sight part off the barrel band? Okay I wouldn't do it but I know someone in the business that could do it. The hard part is to leave enough on to let it keep its strength.
The insert in the picture was photoshopped to show what I want it to look like.

I like it with out the sight. Really cleaned up the look of your Henry. What you said is right on about not needing with a scope.

That would sure save a lot of $$$, time, and energy not having to adjust sights, wouldn't it?!?
Kind of cool looking, too, tx gunrunner. You have some unique firearms!

Aside from my apocalyptic concern, I like the clean Photoshopped version. Nice lines...

No one was bidding on it , so I bid a Max of $30 and 5 days later Gun Brokers Email saying I won and got it for $25 and had it mail to me for $5.00 more
