SGC bronze peep_Special order from Skinner

One of several reasons I chose to buy the Henry Small Game Carbine (H001TLP) model is that it was built with a stock receiver-mounted Skinner peep. The sight comes in blued metal on the rifle, and looks just fine.
However, I think I was a little spoiled with the looks of the bronze barrel-mounted Skinner peep I had installed on my .357 Bronze Big Boy. So I wrote to Andy at Skinner and inquired about a special order to build a bronze sight to replace the one on my Carbine. He said it's a can-do, and he did a great job. I got my new sight from Andy this week, and since it is too blazing hot to get to the range, I simply changed out the sights this afternoon. Quite an easy swap, and I like the "new look" of my Small Game Carbine.
Next step will be to sight the rifle in again, and continue to enjoy shooting my SGC!
