Hey y’all. I searched for this topic, came up empty. Probably my bad. Anyone have a suggestion for a ‘cheap’ ‘quality’ boresight? Using a 357.

Saw that, mediocre reviews. Do you use it?

I have one like it, though not this particular item. It works well in both my .357 Revolver and my BBB.

I bought one of these per one of the reviews being from a gunsmith. I like it works great. Im sure the one Stan posted would be fine my neighbor has mentioned he has used those. Mines not as cheap but I do like it.

Pull the bolt, place in a padded vise while finding a good target lock and adjust the sights or scope. Works well for me just remember to move the sight in the opposite direction that you would with a normal target sight in.

You. Describe the origanal Bore Sighting.
Using the bore to sight in.

Since you are not moveing the rifle, the scope has to be ajusted in the OPPOSITE direction.
To move the reticle down to the target the knob is turned in the up direction.
Same opposite left and right.
