The sites banner is missing and some avatars and photographs are missing. I checked and cannot get on photobucket. They are down for something. The sites banner is hosted there. Maybe not for much longer.

At least we are here.

I stopped using Photobucket many months ago due to increasing slowness, the amount of increased ad campaigns and the overall difficulty of use due to unexpected and unexplained upgrades.

Over the past several weeks, on the S&W forum many members were complaining of no access to Photobucket and the slowness. Supposedly after it was "fixed" they sent out an email with an apology for the loss of site access. I see not much has changed.

What I found works for me is flickr.com. I sometimes have one ad banner at the bottom but never an issue with ability or performance of the site.

Photobucket seems to be down, I can't get on amd all of my pics here are gone.

Mine too, and I have had numerous problems with them in the past. This morning when I tried it says "no network connection."

I gave up on the bucket when this forum started.

Maybe it kicked the bucket.

My Photobucket was down for a few weeks. It just came back when I got my iPhone 7?

That's why I hadn't posted pictures for a month. Naturally it was down during the October pic contest.

Sorry. I was trying to be funny. I was asking what site is THIS one that we are on since the Henry banner is not flying.

It was funny. I replaced my photobucket hosted avatar this morning. I want to take my time to replace the banner so it works correctly. That will have to wait until tonight most likely.

Same here. I lost my avatar this morning on another site. I went to Photobucket to see what was going on and could not log onto it. I saw some other avatars missing there as well. Although all my others are in place. I probably have about 8 total at different sites out there. I tried putting an avatar on here once, but could not get the picture to copy. I guess they didn't want their picture used anywhere, lol.

It's not a forum, Bish. It's a photo sharing website that requires registration and provides limited functionality without a subscription. It was useful (and necessary) on the former Henry forum (which went belly up) in order to post any images, but it's not needed here because Daytime Dave and Sir Henry selected and pay for an ISP host that allows images to be uploaded directly.

I still use it to post an image for my signature on this forum, which is why today -- if you'll notice -- my signature is missing.

Photobucket says they're down for maintenance and will be back up shortly. We shall see how long "shortly" is.

I was able to get my avatar onto my computer. I haven't had time to work on the banner yet. I will be though.

If anyone else is trying to get their avatar to conform to the site allowances, it's 150 x 150 pixels totalling no more than 6 Kb.

I was able to make mine smaller in microsoft paint. You can right click on your picture and hit edit. I think it opens it in paint. There is a function to resize the image. I did it by percentage until the picture fit the above limits then saved it to my computer.

Photobucket is now working for me.

Yup, the HRF banner has re-appeared!

Same here. My avatar is back in place at the site I lost it at.

Now to try to get one on here, lol.
