Is tomorrow still the big drawing day? Is there an "official time" for said drawing? How/when will winners be notified?

If you have 10 posts and you haven't entered, better jump in now! Your odds of winning SOMETHING are very good!

I did not enter this forum for the 'giveaway' but I just found it, and as a Henry lever action fan, I had to become a member. The giveaway is just an unexpected but nice extra.
Jan from The Netherlands
- Henry "Small Game" .22lr
- A few CZ rifles and a pistol
- Uberti Cattleman revolver
- Two Diana Air rifles, one in .17 (it is from 1974) and one in .22 (also old)

the thread is closely monitored to ensure all applicants meet the criteria .... tomorrow (Sat - April 20th) the thread will be locked and a final double check will be made to further ensure everything is as it should be .... at some point there after Dave will run a random selector program and the winners will be determined and a list is posted on the forum

For me, I found the website first based on interest and joined. I actually found out after joining about the the contest and thought it can’t hurt to enter. There are some good topics and friendly discussions here that just make this forum a comfortable place to visit and spend some time.

I joined back in January of 2017.
I joined so I could participate in the discussions about some of my favorite rifles.
I was one of but many who contacted Henry Repeating Arms on several occasions to request a lever-action rifle in .327fedmag.
When I received the email from Henry announcing the production of this rifle, I was in 7th heaven.

The .327 was my second Henry.
I had purchased an H001 some time prior and loved it.
VERY shortly after purchasing the .327. I won a Henry Frontier rifle in .22wmr at our local FNRA banquet.

The ball was rolling, and it was all downhill from there.
I found a used Golden Boy (rental gun) at my local range and asked if they would sell.
To my surprise they said yes, so I now had my 4th Henry.

A short time later, I found a decent deal on another new .327fed/mag so that came home too.
Now I find I'm going to be bringing home Henry #6, in the American Eagle rifle I just won in the forums contest.

I really like this place, though I don't get as much time on here as I'd like.
Good people, great topics of discussions, and free stuff!

What's not to love?

Congrats on your big win, Mgderf! And on your growing Henry collection. They are truly like potato chips (or Oreos, or whatever the weakness!), aren't they?

Can't wait to see your pics of the American Eagle and hear how it shoots for you!

And, your BONUS gift PINK TOWEL should be there by the end of next week!

Have a Happy Easter!

And a nice collection of Henrys.

Congrats on the Newest.

I'll confess to barely having made enough posts to enter, but the giveaway never got on my radar until nearly too late. I just bought my first Golden Boy and was looking around for some intelligent information sharing when I found this forum. Lots of great info here, thanks to all who share so freely!

So, when did this forum begin?
The towels say March 2019 and 3rd anniversary.
I joined in January of 2017.
Was that the first year?
Did I get in on the ground floor, and not even know it?

Mgderf,

Daytime Dave's first post for this Forum was on March 20, 2016. That is the month/year the HRF began. Check this discussion thread:
http://henryrifleforums.com/viewtopic.p ... ng+members

Within the membership designations of the Forum, there is a "closed group" called Founding Members. After Dave started HRF, the first 100 folk who joined were given the Founding Member designation. You'll know who these folk are when you see their moniker (posted under their avatar) in "orange" letters. However, some of them had their orange moniker changed to another color, if for instance, they became a Marshall or acquired another Forum title. Here is the link to the Founding Member group. I sorted the names in alpha order so anyone can easily find exactly their join date.

Daytime Dave-

I’ve tried multiple times to send an IM with my information. It looks like it never goes out. Can you confirm whether you’ve received an IM?

Private Message on this forum isn't 'Instant Messaging'. PM's sit in your 'Outbox' until the recipient logs in. Next time the recipient logs in, your PM moves from your 'Outbox' to the 'sent' folder.
