I remember that day you brought it back from the dead. I was in a hotel room at spring training in Scottsdale Arizona for the Giants cruising the internet when it went live. I immediately signed up!

Thanks for saving Henry Forum.

After all the years I’ve only been warned a few times and never got banned. Well except for the hiccup with the server change. For the life of me I couldn’t figure out what I did wrong.

As a founding member I’m glad to be here…

Thank you Dave for starting the forum and another thank you to the mods who help keep it up and running. I really enjoy posting and reading other’s posts. Doing so is part of my morning wake up and face the day routine. I especially enjoy just posting about life and all the interesting topics we discuss here. Yes it’s a firearms first forum especially Henry’s and that’s wonderful. But just the general discussing about all kinds of topics is what I enjoy most. It’s a facebook for us.

Ten years ago, I started this forum after the old forum stopped working. Since then, we have enjoyed many fine folks here. I have learned more about computers and programming and operating a forum than I ever wanted to know. I still don't know enough to do all I wanted to, but I like it the way it is.
I still enjoy supporting my favorite brand of rifle. Henry Repeating Arms makes a fine product. I first purchased a golden boy .22 and was amazed at the quality. I wanted to learn more. I found a Henry forum and joined. I've collected many Henry's since then and have had the privilege of coming to know some of the finest folks. I've only met less than a handful of members in person, yet I know so many more.
I want to thank each one of you for making this forum a wonderful endeavor. I truly think of it as a group of like minded friends sitting around a campfire.

Whether you've been a long for the whole ride, or just gotten here.
Thank you.

Dave

Congrats, and thanks Dave.
I really enjoy the vibe here. It's one of my daily check-in forums.
Here's hoping the next ten go just as successfully.

Shooting weather is just around the corner. I'm chompin at the bit.
Will have range upgrades to post about, checking the sights on the various farm guns, and just fun shooting.

Look forward to range posts from others, trip reports, fishing, cars and trucks...
Grass season will be in full swing. Time for tractor and mower brags and gripes...
New projects, we have a big roof project in the near future.
Sheesh, should be plenty to keep the thread counts up.

:)
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
