The state stocks pheasants here, hens and ringnecks. There are deer and turkeys too.

Pretty area Dutch. I used to pheasant hunt a few miles west of Chambersburg off Rt.30 It was good hunting there back in the early to mid eighties.

After gas went crazy and I started hunting closer to home I got "stuck" hunting places like this.

Pretty much what it looks like where I live. These were both taken about 1 1/2 two air miles from my home.

Dutch, you have beautiful places to hunt. You are truly blessed in that respect. Areas like that make slow days just fine too.

Dutch you have some nice country in Franklin Co. also. I like coming out your way to gun shows and traveling Rt.30 over the mountains from Breezewood. I like hunting Fulton Co. also. Some nice areas I plan to go to this summer to check out are in Clinton, Lycoming, Centre and Potter. Still some pretty wild areas up northern Pa. Plan on fishing and do a little checking on hunting spots for squirrel.

I will check back here from time-to-time to view the beautiful countryside, and to catch a breath of fresh air and pleasant breezes!

Dutch and Bandit,
This is a really beautiful part of the world that we get to call home. As Dave says, it's nice place to slow a day down and take in the wonder of it all. Thanks for sharing it.

That will be a nice place to go on the forum when the temps and humidity in Fl. both get up in the 90's. I used to deer hunt in Wyoming County Pa.
