A few tundra swans waiting for the sun to fully rise. Not sure what these guys did to their friends, but the other side of the lake had hundreds of swans crowded together.

Since it’s getting lighter later I’m actually up when the sun comes up. I’ll be seeing a lot more of these from my front deck for the next six months.

The Pup and I made it out to the boneyard beach yesterday. They are opening the gate an hour before sunrise now, so we were able to be on the beach a good half hour or so before the sun peeked over the horizon.
